Chaemus is an Australian born, multidisciplinary photographer creating visuals that feel authentic and deeply connected to their subjects. His desire to distill elements down to their most essential, leads to compelling and often poetic images and films.
Finding inspiration from the nature he was surrounded by as a child and drawing on a technical background; Chaemus blends an obsession with materiality and texture into a minimalist approach, finding what’s included in the frame to carry equal weight with that which isn’t.
